This was our third time dinning at Jubilee Cottage. Friday night was “Now and Zen” Asian cuisine. The menu includes an appetizer, soup, 2 mains and dessert. Coffee and herbal teas as well. It is a BYO wine. Only $5 corking fee. Call ahead for reservations. Since it is a small family operation the menu is set for the evening. There are other themes on other nights. A great value at $42 each plus $5 corking fee if you bring wine.

We were looking for a winter get-away & we had a lovely time at Jubliee Cottage Inn. The owners are gracious and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable & the Canada Goose room was spacious. The food was amazing! We had a Thai beef tenderloin salad that was incredible- the beef was from an organic farm down the road. Then, we had a seafood curry with shrimp, scallops cod & salmon, with veggies & rice on the side. The curry was not too spicy- its flavour was perfect with the seafood. Dessert was tiramisu- light and delicious. The owners put a lot of care into sourcing the ingredients and it shows! Breakfast was a beautiful fruit plate followed by fluffy scrambled eggs.
Yes, Wallace is a quiet place, but it is only 20 min from Ski Wentworth & in the summer, there are beaches & golf courses nearby.
We are planning to return to Jubilee Cottage Inn.Very Pleased Patron

Was riding through on my motorcycle and called a few B&B in range. Liked the courteous response over the phone and glad I chose this place. Room was clean and had all the amenities. Shower stall was tight, but for me it accented the charm of this 103 year old house. Breakfast was sumptuous & presented elegantly. Was served in a quaint room overlooking the lawn and ocean. Owners were polite and courteous. Would like to come again with my wife someday (will have to be on 4 wheels though).

Lovely cosy comfortable rooms, full of charm. Our room had a fireplace and ensuite, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The ambience in this period home is very soothing and the music wafting through the puts you at peace. The full breakfast is scrumptious and be sure to stay on for the dinners. Perfect place for your country getaway!

A last minute call, but they had a room; I only live an hour away, but just needed a breather in different surroundings. I was there by 9:00 pm and the hosts were most gracious and accommodating.
The room was charming and cozy and clean with a private en suite bathroom w/shower. It had large windows, was quiet, with great linens.
I told the owner I was more interested in sleeping in and not to worry about breakfast, but after reading a bit in the morning I did need coffee and headed down.
In only a few minutes I was surprised to be presented an enormous plate of food: herbed scrambled eggs, delicious sausages, ripe avacado, four or five sliced in-season fruits, fried meaty mushrooms, 3 types of toast, jams, etc.WOW!! Glad I didn’t miss that after all – and I wasn’t even expecting it!
The kind and unobtrusive hosts and other guests and myself chatted over breakfast and then I made my way back to my room, and crawled back into my comfortable bed until check-out time.
I had been to the Jubilee Cottage several times for the AMAZING evening dining cuisine they provide, but now I know I will be staying over-night each time I go for dinner. For the price, the breakfast, and the generally terrific stay, how can I not?! A perfect little ‘staycation’ breather, for which I am thankful, and will be back.
